How to move the t3DO and DMA data archive

The t3DO and DMA archives are contained in the same folder and can and must be moved together.

Case 1: the archive has never been moved

Make a copy

1. identify the location of the archives
2. during the installation the archives are in the folder: c:\users\[user name]\documents\t3do
3. make a copy of the t3do folder and all its contents

Restore the copy

1. install the program on the new computer
2. open the document folder and replace the existing t3do folder, with the examples of the new installation, with your copy.
3. Be careful not to copy your t3do folder into the new t3do folder

Case 2: your data has been moved

Make a copy

1. identify the location of the archives
2. the simplest way to know the position is to open t3do, select a patient, select a model and read the path on the right pane. The part that interests us is the one to the left of the word projects

   

3. or open the 3DO U.M. program click on "Database Management" and read the set path

   

4. in both cases, a copy of all files and folders contained in the container folder must be made, in the images called "Folder to copy", the name of this folder is not necessarily "t3do"

Restore the copy

1. install the program on the new computer
2. decide the new folder location and copy your archive into it
3. open the 3DO U.M. program Click on the "Define folder ..." button and select the new folder location
